This is because teenagers not interested in politic and feel not important to know it. Shawwal ( Arabic : شَوَّال ‎, Šawwāl ) is the tenth month of the lunar based Islamic calendar . Shawwāl stems from the verb shāla ( شَالَ ) to 'lift or carry', generally to take or move things from one place to another, so named because a female camel n or mally would be carrying a fetus at this time of year. Shawwal is celebrated after one month fasting during ramadhan session. What Muslims do a few days before celebrating the Shawwal ? Mostly they will making 'kuih raya' , buy some stuff to decorate their house and buy some ' baju kurung' or 'baju melayu'  for them wearing nicely on the first Shawwal.
